Dimensional Examination

Evaluates the geomatric properties of manufactured material and components to confirm that they match to design requirement

What is Dimensional Examination?

Dimensional examination is the process of measuring a component’s physical size, shape, and geometry to ensure it meets required specifications and tolerances. It involves using tools like calipers, micrometers, or coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify dimensions such as length, diameter, thickness, and angles. This ensures that parts fit and function correctly in their intended applications.

Dimensional Examination

Arc Spark Spectroscopy

  • Detect the Fe-base, Ti-base and Ni-base materials.
  • Provide spectral range 200nm-800nm and shortest time analysis 10s.
  • Low detection limits of wide range of element.

X-ray Diffraction

  • Determine the compound analysis.
  • Determine structural properties such as lattice parameters, strain, grain size, epitaxy, phase composition and preferred orientation.
